gerrrrrr

"he's working sooo hard! look at his muscles, they're hard!" eli said as adam carved the pumpkin, so impressed with his daddy's handiwork. it was so funny, he disappeared into his room for a minute and came back with his multi tool. he then proceeded to "carve" the pumpkin himself.

we had been talking about "trick or treating" all day, so when he finally got to do it and the people answered the door he would say "trick or treating!" it's better than last year when he would yell "i want some can-dy!!!"

as you can see eli got to be a gerring tiger and lyla went as a baby. she seems to be feeling better. i don't know if i mentioned it, but she has yet another ear infection. this time it's a double. it is so sad. it's so hard because by the time she gets well we have about a week and a half of the real lyla and then the fussiness starts, builds and culminates in a day of full out screaming and a trip to the doc and then the pharmacy. i hope this cycle breaks with this one. but for now, she's mostly back. she's so happy when she feels good...i love it.
