what do you do in kauai at 6am?

go to the beach! there is a 4 hour time difference between boise and kauai...so early mornings and bedtimes were the norm. this was the first day and the first time to the beach. it was a beautiful morning:)

on our way to breakfast we realized our two families had almost identical footwear, or lack there of on the girls. definitely picture worthy...hahaha.

hailey was not too keen on sharing her daddy with lyla. whenever she noticed him holding her she wanted some snuggs, too. such a girl:)

since adam's work schedule changed, we were able to change our flight and go a day early. the house was not ready yet, so we stayed at a hotel with my brother's family who also came early. it was a nice place right on the beach with a pool that the kids had a good time in. a great way to start the trip.
