blogger image quality

has anyone noticed how the image quality on blogger has gone WAY down? i upload pics that look great on my computer, but when they are placed in a post the look blurry. i tried higher resolution and posting buy the url. i'm only at 20% of my storage usage with google. any ideas? i miss crisp pics!

    I think they must automatically reduce the quality (optimize for Google) to save space. The good news is if you click on the pic you see the higher quality version.
