| as i *may* have mentioned else ware on this blog, la jolla is one of my favorite place on this earth. it’s.just.beautiful. this day was exceptional, even for la jolla. the water was hawaii clear and smooth and just amazing. |

| jesse has some pretty fun tick kites. eli is a natural. he was able to spin and unpin the kite without tangling the strings. it was impressive for his first time. |

| adam has been growing this pumpkin all summer. it’s a beauty:) carving it took a drywall knife and a lot of muscle. side note, it was the sweetest smelling pumpkin i have ever carved. it smelled like pumpkin candy! |

| we have gone to the far west carnival since eli was just a baby. they have almost outgrown it, but we squeezed one more year in:) |

| my mom let the kids enter two of her chickens in a beauty contest. they got to name these chickens when they were just chicks and have been able to have a hand in raising them. piper, won first prize!!! the kids were pretty stoked… |

| one of my bestests turned 40 this year. we were able to get away for a weekend of hiking, eating, laughing, and hot springing. |
