the thomas family comes to idaho!!!

we got to spend a whole day with corrie and mike and jenny and josh in stanley. we spend some time paddling around the redfish lake, eating, drinking coffee and visiting. these people are the kind of friends i know i will have for life. we already have about 18 years under our belt, which is a pretty good.

if you’re in stanley and find yourself in need of food, the stanley sluice was delicious and has bottomless fries. bonus!

the next day we went kayaking at another lake, which i forget the name of...but it was pretty!

the kids took a climbing camp at asana right around the corner from us. they had a BLAST.

SD friends

we made it a point to try and see some friends while in sd. we are always so buys with family that we don’t get to spend much time with friends. but this time we say lots, and it was good:)

i’ve know travis sins i was itty bitty. our families were friends all my growing up years. then when i was in college i met his cousin, lenore, and we became fast friends.

me and kendra

adam was friends with kendra and mike long before i was, but all because friends in college group at shadow mountain. it was so good catching up after 7 years!

i didn’t get a pic of scott, but i’ve known him since jr. high. this is a picture of all of our kids. so fun to see them play and have fun together.

these are two of adam’s best friends from college, chris and dave. he lived with dave and his family during our college years. so good to see them…
