| we got to spend a whole day with corrie and mike and jenny and josh in stanley. we spend some time paddling around the redfish lake, eating, drinking coffee and visiting. these people are the kind of friends i know i will have for life. we already have about 18 years under our belt, which is a pretty good. |

| if you’re in stanley and find yourself in need of food, the stanley sluice was delicious and has bottomless fries. bonus! |

| the next day we went kayaking at another lake, which i forget the name of...but it was pretty! |
