we went with some new friends from california, garrett and johnna, who visited our church last sunday. they have an 8 year old, julia, and a 4 year old, james. here they are enjoying a little wind in their hair...

ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to go to the cherry festival for about 10 years. Something has always come up during this week, so we are going on Saturday morning. We shall party with the Emmettites then and consume mass amounts of cherries.
And, I want to meet Garrett and Johnna, too!

ReplyDeleteAh fun! Brian said he saw the Euroballs in New Brunswick on the Reversing Falls. The girls would love that. I'm with Keri in that we have never been to the Emmett Cherry Festival, but might have to scramble for a last minute trip. I think you've sold me, Katie! And as for you, Johnna, I wish I could have met you last week at church! I see that you homeschool using the Charlotte Mason method. It would have been wonderful to chat with you. ReplyDeleteI don't know about the Eurobobbles! I'm claustrophobic and have water issues! I'd be doomed! Looks like the kids had an awesome time though! We are going to the cherry festival tonight and that will be a first for us. Looking forward to it.
