riggins camping trip

for memorial day weekend we took a camping trip to riggins. it is a very small "town" (using the term loosely) about 3 hours from here, up past mccall. it was our second camping trip since eli but our frist time sleeping in a tent with him. he was a little weirded out at first but warmed up to the situation quickly.

it rained the first day we were there so we called some friends that live in grangeville (a town another hour or so up from riggins) to see if they wanted to get together. they were available so we went to see their house and then out to lunch. it was good to see them and visit their town, which we've been wanting to do but weren't so enthused about the 4 hour drive from boise.

overall, it was a successful trip. i've been putting off camping since our last trip when eli was about 8 months old. that was not a fun trip for me because of eli's age/not being able to walk ect. but it was fun this time and eli was great...so maybe another trip before baby? we'll see.
