springtime overflows are sometimes a pain, making biking to downtown difficult. there is an upside though, and thats the overflow by our house makes a super fun playground for these crazy kids... |
exploring... |
making nature bouquets:) |
our everydays
the kids usually are not supper excited to take walks in the evening, but tonight they were rewarded with overflow dipping... |
i love his smile... |
overflows are good times |
our (super cool) campsite, the tent was around the corner. |
our tent:) |
you can hardly see them, but eli and adam are on the left side of this rock formation, look for the bright green shirt. |
you just don't get an idea of how massive this place is, even from pictures. this rock was HUGE. pics don't do it anywhere near justice. |
the best rainbow ever. it was so brilliant, and with the rocks and clouds and bushes it was breath taking. |
breakfast on the rock with a million dollar view... |
eli was so proud of himself for snapping this picture of me enjoying my coffee and the amazing view. good job eli:) |
we found so many cool arches in our exploring... |
me on my favorite rock. this is only the top 1/4 of the giant. again, pics just don't compare to the real deal. |
adam and the kids hiked to this crazy ledge... |
camp food always tastes better than everyday food. here adam is cooking steak, but this trip he created "camp super nachos," which is our new favorite camping dinner. |
on the way home we stopped at 1,000 springs hot spring pool. the log is our favorite:) and how often do you see a high dive at a hot spring?!? and then it was over:( |
