| the ingredients:soy sauce, mustard, milk, juice, carrots, grapes, banana, ketchup, blueberries, beats, radishes, apples, cheese, pineapples, watermelon, chocolate syrup, maple syrup, and a few others that I can’t remember. they wrote each ingredient on a piece of paper and each picked 10 and blended it. the tasty stuff didn’t even come close to covering up the grossness. they loved every second. |

lyla would have spent the WHOLE party in the booth. she’s quite the ham. eli wasn’t quite as excited about it at first, but in a very short time his inner diva came shining through. |

| one of my very best friends had a baby girl this month. she is just the sweetest little thing. congrats jenny and josh!!! |

| i read this to lyla and without skipping a beat she said, “eat steak and say “hi” to shane and hailey.” |

| we love trees, don’t get me wrong. but two full size blue spruce trees in our yard was a little much. from our kitchen window i could see ….you guessed it…spruce. no sky. no skyline. just spruce. they just had to come down. this was my “view,” and it made me a little claustrophobic. |

| meanwhile, i loaded the van with replacements…i’m telling ya, i’m beyond thankful for my minivan. |

| after a lot of digging, rock removing, and stump cutting, we finally got to plant. i love being able to see the sky and the trees blow in the wind. it’s scary taking down such huge trees, i was afraid i wouldn’t like it, but I LOVE it. such a relief:) |
