it was a good Christmas…

grandma hobb sent this to eli for Christmas. love it.

we had the whitest white Christmas we’ve ever had here.  Christmas morning we went for a walk up polecat gulch. this may sound a little cheesy, but it was a wee bit magical;)

the tree hunt

tree hunting has had it's ups and downs (last year there may have been an incident with a cliff and a stuck car) but the past is the past:) this year was perfect. we found an awesome tree, sledded a bit and had dinner and trudy's kitchen.  a good day!

first ski day

bogus opened really early this year, so we hit the slopes on the sunday after thanksgiving.  only a few lifts were open, but the snow was dry and squeaky.  it was a great day for the kids to regain snow skills:)

what we actually had:  
-turkey  
-green beans  
-stuffing  
-pecan pie

before dinner we went to lucky peak to collect driftwood.  it was a beautiful, sunshiny day!
