new glasses...

we got the kiddos some sunglasses today.  eli wore all three pairs around the mall during the rest of our shopping...

2nd annual mother's day ride

here in the jennings household, we believe in a little bit of child labor here and there.  case in point...lyla sweating away giving that wrench a workout...

part of my mother's day gift was fixing up my bike and makin' it look pretty...i looove it.

 we rode down to wiseguys pizza with jamie and her boys and my mom and dad.  along the way we stopped a few times to cool off in the river and went swimming in the pond. it was a super fun time...

wiseguys pizza is a fun little place to eat.  it's in an old building with lots of character.  here we are, ready to head home...happy mother's day!

restaurante de liv and holland

liv and holland decided to open restaurants in their backyard.  eli and lyla

were lucky enough to be the food critics.  both chefs were successful in earning two thumbs up, and happily declared that they will be staying open.

lyla said she would hold bailey's hand in case she needed help...

we took advantage of the beautiful weather with a trip to camels back park today.  never touched the playground...who needs it when you have a hill of sand to play with?

lyla wrote "Bailey" in the sand.  she has the B laying down and forgot an "i," but WOW, I'm thinking she got a lot out of eli's schooling this year:)

we had a nice dinner at the 36th st. bistro to celebrate. the kiddos sure do love their papa:) and we do too!
